Kalyani V. Jog

Kalyani is studying the fate and toxicity of a class of emerging contaminants known as the azoles compounds. These compounds are used as corrosion inhibitors in several industries including the semiconductor industry and cause severe toxicity to nitrifying microorganisms during wastewater treatment. Before coming to the University of Arizona, she completed her Bachelor's in Chemical Technology from The Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai, India. She enjoys hiking and stargazing in the beautiful Arizona landscapes.
