Camila Leite Madeira is a PhD student in the Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering at the University of Arizona since 2014. She received her bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering from the Federal University of Itajubá, Minas Gerais – Brazil, and did an internship at the University of Strasbourg, in France, where she worked with the development of hydrological models. Her research interests include degradation, toxicity and fate of organic contaminants. During her free time, she enjoys dancing, cooking, and exploring Tucson's nature.
Camila graduated in the Spring 2020. She is currently a postdoctoral scientist at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
