My research focus on soil and environmental chemistry. I study novel, cationic hydrophobic polymers for remediation of per- and polyfluoroalkyl contaminated groundwater. In the soil my research interests focus on understanding biogeochemical reactions that controls carbon, nutrients and pollutant stabilization and distribution. I have a BSc in Biotechnology and Environmental Sciences from Tel-Hai College and PhD in Soil Chemistry from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. I love live music, hiking, camping, mountain biking, and lots of family time.
Yaniv left the UofA in May 2020. He is currently an assistant professor (soil chemistry) at Auburn University.
